Jump rope can be a lot of fun but sometimes the person may not have a jump rope. If that is the case the person can pretend to have a jump rope. You can also have an adult cut a rope.

Steps to sizing your jump rope

  • Stand on the middle of rope

  • Hold the edges up high

  • Edges of the rope should reach armpit

  • If the rope is to long, you can tie a knot to shorten length

Remember to never interlock your finger if you are practicing a bump or receive. 

  • Only practice these moves if:

  • Your family gives you permission and works with you.

  • You have a soft and safe place to try activity.

  • You feel confident and unafraid to try.
